Abstract

Purpose of this paper is to analyse the effect of The Straits Times Index (STI) Singapore, The Stock
Exchange of Thailand (SETI), KLCI Malaysia, Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEI), and Rupiah
exchange rate towards the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in
2017. The number of the data processed as many as 240 days during the year 2017. This research uses
the multiple linear regression analyses as The Analysis Technique. This research also uses Add-Ins
Application called EViews. The result proves that The Straits Times Index (STI) Singapore, Stock
Exchange of Thailand Index (SETI), KLCI Malaysia, Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi), and
Rupiah exchange rate simultaneously have a significant effect on the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG).
In a partial relationship showing, Stock Exchange of Thailand index (SETI), KLCI Malaysia, Philippine
Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) and Rupiah exchange rate affect significantly positive towards the
Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG). While The Straits Times Index (STI) Singapore affects insignificantly
towards the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG)
